Attendance Fees
I operate with a 24 hour cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled time will be charged a fee of $30.
Individuals who do not show up or are late will be charged the agreed upon rate for their session up to the full amount.
Payment Methods
Cash, credit card, and checks are accepted forms of payment. Payment is taken at start of session if not paid in advance.
Insurance is not currently accepted. Superbills (receipt for services) can be provided upon request to submit for possible reimbursement from insurance companies. If this may be something you might need, it is recommended you consult with insurance company before starting therapy to confirm superbills will be reimbursed. Below are some questions which may be helpful to ask when contacting insurance companies?
- What percentage of my bill, if any, will be covered for services obtained from an out-of-network provider?
- I recommend you clarify you are asking about an out of network LMFT or LPCC
- How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?
- What is deductible (amount you will be responsible to pay)?
- How quickly is reimbursement processed?
- Is telehealth covered?
